Utility Models from My Parents' Company

The following are utility models for buckles—products manufactured by my family’s metalworking business—which I helped file while I was a university student. No maintenance fees (annuities) have been paid for them. I am not certain of their current status, but I believe these designs are now free for third parties to use.

  1. T-shaped pin-type buckle
  2. Semi-fixed buckle with a sliding component

Patents Filed During My Professional Career

The following are patents I filed—without the assistance of a patent attorney—based on research conducted with Mr. Hirata, Mr. Suzuki, and others during my time at this company. I vaguely recall struggling to create the technical drawings required for the patent applications.

  1. Regional wind power generation system using wind condition prediction control, adaptable to any number of observation points
  2. Mechanism for predicting fluctuations in renewable energy output based on real-time forecasting of meteorological changes

I have written this page to ensure that my father’s utility models do not fade into obscurity, and, incidentally, to keep a record of my own patents.
